Celebrating Youth180's Impact on Dallas Youth and Families

On Wednesday, February 7th, Youth180’s Oak Cliff Center opened its doors to the general public for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic. To reign in the agencies 40th anniversary, they welcomed community partners, donors, and new interests to get a firsthand glance at the facility that serves Dallas youth and families with clinical programs. Individuals between the ages of 12 to 21 who are struggling with a substance use disorder can visit this facility Monday through Friday to enter their outpatient treatment program with licensed counseling professionals.

Youth180's President and CEO, Keri Stitt, used this opportunity to launch their new brand, including their updated mission and vision, to empower communities with transformative care in prevention, intervention, and treatment. The agency also worked on a needed update to their logo.

"The updated colors of our logo represent the vibrant and bold communities we serve while our added butterfly represents the transformation many of our youth and their families experience on their path towards navigating social and environmental challenges." -Keri Stitt, President and CEO

Additionally, the leadership team comprised of Lakeyshia Jones-Hill, Cora Mosely, Alonza Winston, Genesis Morales, and Viviana Triana reviewed with stakeholders the remarkable work they achieved in FY2023. Reporting 26,489 individuals were served through their programs in prevention, intervention, and clinical last year with an average of 99% of those services being FREE for low-income families, and under-insured youth.

Their team closed out the night with gratitude, encouraging the community to continue their support of the agency through their volunteerism, and involvement in their upcoming golf fundraiser “Drive Fore Youth“.
